What are we solving?
The objective is to provide a dedicated taxi service for safe transportation for women while also empowering female drivers.
The idea behind it is that the male-dominated transportation industry presents a threat to the safety of women in many parts of the country and the world as well.
Women contributing to the household economy is uncommon and frowned upon, we are planning on changing that giving ladies and their respective families a chance to take part and revolutionize the thinking pattern in Sri Lanka's economical circles.
We are educating husbands and families of Sri Lanka on the importance of this change in society while their loved ones are safe being a part of Pink Drives.
The Lady drivers are not just a driver taking a taxi ride, but Ladies who are empowering and guaranteeing the safety of other Ladies and Children within their society.
